window screen

A window screen is a removable screen made of fiberglass, metal, or plastic mesh that is attached to the outside of a window frame. It is used to keep insects, dust, and other debris out of a building while allowing fresh air to enter. Window screens are often used in combination with window screen frames, which hold the screen in place. They can be easily removed for cleaning or replaced if damaged. Some window screens are designed to be adjustable, so that they can be raised or lowered to control the amount of airflow entering a building.
